Terms

Terms of service.
In plain words.

Your account, plans and billing, refunds, what Aldo may be used for, and what each of us is responsible for. Last updated October 11, 2026.

Who we are

Aldo (aldo.computer) is operated by Logan Sack, a sole proprietor ("Aldo", "we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and Aldo, and with the Privacy Policy and, if you use texts and calls, the SMS terms, they cover your use of Aldo's site, app, agents and machines. By creating an account or using Aldo, you agree to them. Questions: logancsack@gmail.com.

Your account

  • You must be at least 18, and able to agree to these terms, to use Aldo.
  • An account is for one person. Keep your sign-in secure, don't share it, and tell us at once if you think someone else has used it. You're responsible for what's done through your account.
  • If you use Aldo for an organization, you're agreeing to these terms for it too, and you confirm you're allowed to.

What Aldo does, and what you're responsible for

Aldo runs AI agents for you: an assistant you talk to, and threads that each work on a cloud machine of their own, using the accounts and subscriptions you connect. Agents act on your instructions and can make mistakes: they can misread what you asked, write code with bugs, or get a fact wrong. Review what they make before you rely on it, merge it, send it or publish it.

Aldo's agents are instructed to ask you before they pay for something, book, cancel, submit a form or call someone for you, and to draft mail rather than send it unless you or a routine you set up asked them to. Like anything an agent does, that can go wrong. You're responsible for the instructions you give, the routines and policies you set, and the actions you approve.

We keep improving Aldo, so features change, and some are marked as early. We may add, change or remove features; if we remove one that's a main part of a paid plan, we'll tell you first.

Your subscriptions and other services

Agents use the services you connect (AI subscriptions such as Claude, ChatGPT or Grok, GitHub and other git hosts, Google, Microsoft, image and video generators, and apps) under your own accounts. Your use of each is governed by its own terms, which you're responsible for following, and what it charges you is between you and it. Aldo isn't responsible for services it doesn't run, or for what they do with what your agents send them.

Plans, credits and billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, through our payment processor, Stripe, at the prices on the Pricing page. You authorize us to charge your payment method for your plan, extra usage and taxes until you cancel.
  • Each plan includes credits for its month, which Aldo's machines, computers, builds, models and residential IPs use at the rates on the Pricing page. Credits don't carry over to the next month and have no cash value.
  • Past your plan's credits, extra usage costs 1.25¢ a credit, only up to the extra usage limit you set on the Usage page ($20 unless you change it). Extra usage is invoiced as it reaches $50, and at the end of each month. Past your limit, some work may continue at no charge in a slower economy lane, as the Pricing page describes, until your plan renews.
  • An upgrade takes effect at once: you're charged the difference for the rest of the month, and get the new plan's credits for it in proportion. A downgrade takes effect when the month ends.
  • Prices don't include taxes; where we're required to collect them, they're added to your invoice.
  • If a payment fails, your agents stop until it's paid. We may change prices; a change applies from your next month, and we'll tell you at least 30 days before it does.

Canceling and refunds

You can cancel any time, from the Usage page (Cancel plan, or Manage billing). Your plan keeps working until the end of the month you've paid for, then ends, and you aren't charged again, apart from extra usage you'd already used.

  • Plan fees and extra usage aren't refunded, including for part of a month or credits you didn't use, except as below or where the law requires.
  • A second plan bought by mistake (two checkouts at once, say) is ended and refunded automatically.
  • If you were charged in error, or Aldo was unavailable for a large part of your month, write to logancsack@gmail.com within 30 days of the charge and we'll make it right, with a refund or credits.
  • If we end your plan for a reason other than your breaking these terms, we refund the unused part of the month.
  • If you dispute a charge with your bank instead, your plan ends at once, without a refund of the rest of the month; you can choose a plan again later.

Acceptable use

Aldo gives your agents real machines, browsers, an email address and IP addresses. Don't use them, or have your agents use them, to:

  • break the law, or infringe or violate anyone's rights, including privacy and intellectual property;
  • send spam, bulk or unsolicited messages, or mail and texts to people who haven't agreed to hear from you;
  • access, scan, attack or test systems, accounts or networks you don't own or don't have permission to, or make or spread malware;
  • get around another service's limits, access controls or terms, such as creating accounts in bulk, evading a ban, or scraping where it's forbidden;
  • commit fraud, phishing or impersonation, or mislead people about who they're dealing with;
  • make or share content that sexually exploits minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that threatens, harasses or incites violence against people;
  • mine cryptocurrency, run workloads meant to exhaust resources, or resell Aldo's machines, computers or network as hosting, proxy or VPN services;
  • share your account, or get around your plan's limits, credits or spending limit;
  • copy, reverse engineer or interfere with Aldo, or test its security without our written permission (if you find a vulnerability, please tell us).

What goes out from your agents' email address, browsers and residential IPs is your responsibility. We may look into suspected abuse, and suspend features or accounts while we do.

Your content

What you give Aldo, and what your agents make for you, is yours. You give Aldo permission to store, process and send it only as needed to run Aldo for you, as the Privacy Policy describes; Aldo doesn't use it to train AI models. You're responsible for having the rights to what you give Aldo.

A file you or your agents share by link can be opened by anyone with the link unless it's private; unshare it to end the link.

Suspending and ending accounts

You can stop using Aldo at any time, and ask us to delete your account at logancsack@gmail.com.

We may suspend or end your account, or part of it, at once if you break these terms (acceptable use especially), if the law requires it, or to protect Aldo, its users or anyone else from harm. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to fix it first.

When an account ends, its machines stop. Aldo deletes what it holds about you when you ask, as the Privacy Policy says. Sections that by their nature should outlast an account (billing owed, content, disclaimers, liability, disputes) do.

Disclaimers

Aldo is provided "as is" and "as available". AI agents and models make mistakes, and we don't promise that Aldo will be uninterrupted or error-free, that what agents make will be accurate or fit for your purpose, or that files on a machine will be kept: a thread's machine and its disk are deleted with the thread, so keep what matters in your repositories or elsewhere. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Aldo isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of Aldo, even if we were told they were possible. Aldo's total liability for any claim about Aldo or these terms is limited to the greater of what you paid Aldo in the 12 months before the claim, or $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they apply to you only as far as the law allows.

Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against Aldo because of your content, or your or your agents' use of Aldo in breach of these terms or the law, you'll defend Aldo against it and cover the resulting costs, damages and reasonable legal fees.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you have a problem with Aldo, write to us first at logancsack@gmail.com, saying what it is and what you'd like, and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally before either of us goes to court. If we can't, disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and you and Aldo agree to their jurisdiction, except that either of us may bring a claim in small claims court where it qualifies. Nothing here takes away rights the law where you live gives you and doesn't let a contract take away.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in Aldo or by email at least 30 days before it takes effect; if you keep using Aldo after that, you accept the new terms. If you don't, you can cancel before they apply. The date below is when they last changed.

Everything else

These terms, the Privacy Policy and the SMS terms are the whole agreement between you and Aldo about Aldo. If part of them can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part isn't giving it up. You can't transfer these terms to someone else without our agreement; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of Aldo, and we'll tell you if we do.
